The idea for the System comes from the Military where weight and strength are very important. The Military has been looking for a new system to transport prisoners from the field to detention or interrogation centers that incorporates the following features: lightweight, strong, small, easy to carry and adjustable for different heights.
The KeyCuff Restraint System™ accomplishes this by using the patented KeyCuff Restraint and a new Patent Pending nylon webbing system. Two KeyCuffs™ restrain the hands while two more KeyCuffs attach to the legs and connecting straps. The connecting straps are a heavy duty nylon that has a breaking strength over 2000 pounds. One strap restrains the legs while the other strap connects the hands to the leg strap. The Prisoners cannot run. He can only just walk. His hands are restrained by the connector between the legs and hands. Thus, he cannot use his hands to cause trouble.
A unique feature of this system is the three "D" rings on the center strap. A KeyCuff™ restraint is supplied that you can use to shorten the nylon strap with the upper "D" rings to adjust for different size persons. In the picture above you can see the use of the lower "D" ring to shorten the nylon strap even more for prisoner transport or immobilization. This is a very flexible system for all kinds of transport and immobilization needs.
